Gail Ann O'Grady is an American producer and actor who is on television from the age of 58. Donna Abandando, in ABC's detective show NYPD Blue; and Helen Pryor, in NBC's drama American Dreams are among her most well-known characters. O'Grady is also known for her leading roles in numerous television shows. Three times she has been named a Primetime Emmy Award. O'Grady has been married six times. In 1995, after breaking the news her relationship with Robert Claypool the artist she demanded a restraining order against the artist. Gail asserts that he stalked her, but did not get one. Gail has responded to the claims by filing a suit to sue him over defamation, libel, and slander.
