Dana Elaine Owens, better called Queen Latifah in the United States is a performer and actress. Queen Latifah is an American actress, rapper as well as a singer. Queen Latifah was the daughter of an Newark New Jersey schoolteacher and a Newark New Jersey police officer Lancelot Owens Senior was raised and born within Newark New Jersey. The couple divorced when Latifah aged 10 years old. Latifah lived within the Baptist religion and went to Catholic school at Newark New Jersey.
